Edit Contentful draft content from Claude. Sign in with your Contentful account — no tokens or command line required.
Quick connect (recommended)

Works in Claude Desktop and claude.ai (same account). Shortcut: /connect
Manual setup
- Install Claude Desktop if needed
- Open Customize → Connectors (or Settings → Integrations in some versions)
- Click Add custom connector
- Paste this URL, then Connect and sign in with Contentful:

Start a new conversation and ask:

Common tasks
Examples you can paste into Claude (or use the matching MCP prompts):
- Edit a page: “Update the hero heading on /about-us”
- Create an article: “Create a new blog article titled …” (Claude will ask for the article type)
- Go live: After Claude saves a draft, open Contentful and publish — cms-edit does not publish for you
Use Contentful only to publish and upload images. Do all copy editing in Claude.
Troubleshooting
- Connection stopped working? Open Customize → Connectors and click Connect again.
- Wrong space? Your Contentful account must have access to this site's space.
